I am currently a student at Johns Hopkins University. I would love to have the opportunity to help tutor a student at any age (elementary, middle school, high school). I am a very warm person and I hope to create an environment where a student may feel comfortable with getting help and getting a deeper understanding of their subject.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Hands on Learning is the most important to me.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Since this is the first time meeting I would hope to get to know the student and let the student know a little bit about myself. I would like to make sure that the student feels comfortable enough to ask questions. Then I would gauge how familiar they are with the topic at hand to figure out where to begin.
