I'm a great tutor because I'm empathetic. I'm skilled at understanding how a student is struggling with a particular academic problem and using that understanding to help him or her learn. Personally, I learn quickly, which allows me to skim material of different types and disciplines, and effectively teach it within a short time. My teaching skills are assisted by my math and reading abilities and my broad variety of interests. Most importantly, I love teaching.
