The world is vast and behind every living creature there is an architecture of generous chemical systems at work. These biochemical processes drive the living, but putting this in perspective has been my life. My years at a private university has propelled me to understand chemistry at all levels because I find satisfaction in learning. I have been involved in chemistry research for over 2 years and it is an humble experience because there is so much we still need to know. Why do we need to understand chemistry more ? In order to create a better world and solve basic problems of human habitations such as Global climate change, cancer and etc. Being able to put these complicated chemical processes in simple terms is my goal. I want everyone to be able to understand chemistry and in order to achieve this I must teach chemistry in simple terms. What benefit would it bring to humanity ? A deeper understanding of problems and our ability to solve it as human beings.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that understanding the material through a visual representation, usually something meaningful, is key to basic understanding and grasping the concept. Memorizing the concepts is not a good approach especially in organic chemistry, and Math.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Introduce myself, and ask them to draw the problem out. After that I will proceed to answer the question and explain the thought process behind it.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I can help a student understand the basics behind different types of problems, which can help them become an independent learner.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I will try to relate it to simpler concepts that will help with more complicated concepts .
