Mathematics and SAT Prep Tutor: The Academic Insider's Edge
I bring over 35 years of experience as a Master Math Tutor and former College Professor, helping students achieve dramatically higher scores (regularly 150+ point SAT increases), true skill mastery, and lasting confidence. My approach is patient, crystal-clear, and results-drivenbreaking down even the toughest concepts into simple, actionable steps that work.
My Unique Advantage: I Know How Colleges Evaluate You
Few tutors offer the perspective of a former College Professor who taught advanced math at major universities. Crucially, I also designed official math placement exams for those universities. This rare insider's perspective is your advantage. I have a unique understanding of how students are evaluated, which enables me to prepare you for success from high school through to your first day of college.
Expertise You Can Trust
I hold both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Georgia. This academic foundation, combined with decades of teaching across all math levels, ensures I teach math not just as theory, but as a practical problem-solving tool. Whether you need foundational skill building, top-tier SAT prep, or support in advanced math courses, I can tailor instruction to your goals.
I look forward to helping you achieve the academic success and confidence you deserve.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me boxing, swimming, biking, or at the gym. I also love listening to 70’s and 80’s music, watching true crime shows, and hanging out with my nieces and nephews. Staying active and spending time with family and friends keeps me balanced — and it makes me a better teacher too.
