What is your teaching philosophy?
Take the problem down to where the student understands it, and then build it back up to the full question.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Work out where their greatest struggles are.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Encourage them to give their "reflex" answer first, and help them hone their instincts to where they can reason things out on their own.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Keep track of all their scores, and keep an updated graph showing their improvement over time.
