Certified Tutor

I'm a passionate bilingual teacher from Spain. I have 9 years of language teaching experience in the UK, Spain and the US. I graduated in Translation and Interpreting in Barcelona, Spain, back in 2003. I started my career as a language instructor in the UK, where I did my teacher training and taught Spanish to both adults and high schoolers. I have also taught English as a foreign language in Spain and tutored for many years. I'm a distance lecturer in translation English to Spanish for a British University too.
I moved to the US in June 2014 to earn a MA in Linguistics with a Language Teaching Specialization from the University of Oregon in Eugene. After graduation I started working at South Seattle College, where I currently teach ESL and Spanish.
I can tutor in Spanish, English as a second language, and a regional language in Spain: Catalan. I'm a linguist and have experience teaching at all levels. I also have proofreading experience and a good eye for detail, so I can help with marking of essays.
In my free time I like to spend time with friends, hiking, cooking and dancing.
