I am NYC based educator and director. During my time as an educator, I have worked with many different kinds of learners and adjusted my approach to meet the needs of the students. I have worked with students from the Bronx to Brooklyn to Minneapolis, with at risk youths, students with both learning and social disabilities and accelerated learners. I have a lot of experience working off of my students' creativity and energy. I am always responding to them and in the best moments learning alongside them.
My greatest strength as an educator is meeting each of my students on their own terms seeing them as individuals with their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

My work has always been centered around writing. My professional life has had me write for marketing campaigns and grant proposals. As well as being a produced playwright, I have worked with many writers to strengthen their own voice, develop structure and fine tune the nitty gritty practicals of the writing process. I have worked with novelists, essayists and poets to help them go deeper and to strengthen the mechanics of their writing.

I am able to teach mechanics, vocabulary and grammar, all while helping lead the student through writing as a form of thinking and discovery. I will help any student who is working on essays, preparing for college admissions, wrestling with creative writing assignments, struggling with reading comprehension or preparing for a test.
