I received my bachelor's of arts from Washington University in St. Louis. I have worked with youth over the last nine years and professionally in a college access organization for the last five years. My main goal has been to help students succeed within their environment, while helping them to prepare for their future goals. Whether the goal is to improve confidence in math or to get the ACT or SAT score to get into your dream school, I have extensive experience helping students to successfully reach their goals. Although, I tutor a wide range of topics, I most enjoy all types of math and history. I really enjoy helping students on the ACT & SAT to see that they have the knowledge already, but they often have to connect that knowledge with new strategies and ways of looking at the problems. Over the last five years, I worked to help students who were frustrated about their test scores to find motivation and keep growing to reach their goal scores and goal colleges. I believe that students have the knowledge and motivation to be successful and it is my job to help students connect with that knowledge and motivation. I believe that education and learning is a key part of life that helps us become the people we hope to be and to achieve things we never dreamed of. In my spare time I enjoy biking, team sports, especially football, hanging out with friends, and playing, singing, and enjoying music.
