I have always had a passion for helping people learn. Whether it be helping a younger child learn to count, or helping colleagues prepare for final exams. My mother is a second grade teacher at Webster Elementary. In her 21 years of experience as a teacher, she has changed countless lives. Watching my mom take on a new group of kids and mold them into promising students inspired me. I know the effect that a good teacher, or influence, can have on a kid's life. This is what I look to provide to my students. I want to be someone who can help them not only grow in their academic learning, but also flourish as an independent student.
