Kaine
Certified Tutor
I am a Texas native, where I graduated from University of Houston with a bachelors degree in Finance. Additionally, I am a May 2015 law school graduate. I currently work in the field of intellectual property. I have tutored students in college algebra, accounting, finance, international business, economics, legal research and writing, intellectual property, and several other courses. My favorite subject to teach is intellectual property.
I believe that every student has what it takes to score the A, it is up to the tutor and teacher to bring those skills to the forefront! Success is more about commitment than any other skill; with dedication and commitment anything can be accomplished! Sometimes a student just needs a push, pull, or different interpretation of the material. That's where I come in! I enjoy running, reading, and playing tennis in my free time.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Every student has the ability to get the A; it's up to the teacher to identify their learning style and meet them where they are!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Introductions and a questionnaire to determine the student's learning style.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Students become independent once they have the tools to succeed. I provide the tools to succeed by delivering the subject matter in a relatable and real world fashion.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Through encouragement and highlighting their progress.
