I have just arrived home from living in New Zealand for 15 months. It was an amazing experience and I loved traveling and exploring on the weekends along with meeting many people from different cultures. I graduated from Florida State University in 2014 with my bachelors degree in Meteorology and a minor in mathematics.

While I was studying at FSU, I spent many hours studying for my mathematics classes and working on practice problems just for fun! My parents even bought me a giant white board so I used to sit on the floor, using my white board constantly. I also loved helping my friends with their math questions and teaching them shortcuts and skills in order to achieve an excellent grade in their classes. As a senior in college, I decided to take two extra mathematics classes which included Linear Algebra and Partial Differential equations. I loved taking those classes because it was just for fun and there was no pressure!

I went to New Zealand in June 2014 to be an Au Pair for an amazing family. I was responsible for an eight year old girl and a ten year old boy. The little girl really struggled to concentrate on just doing her homework and so we made sure she did her spelling and math in a quiet environment and then she excelled. I learned a plethora of patience from the boy though because he struggled with keeping up with his work and he would fight me if he was required to do his homework. I taught him quickly though that if he worked hard, he could finish earlier and have free time. It was such a great learning experience for myself.

I am very outgoing and am willing to work on figuring out the best way for each individual to learn. I know that everyone has a different style of learning and not everyone will react to the same lessons.

I am extremely eager to help you succeed :)
