I'm a recent graduate from the chemistry program at the University of Montana, eager to begin working with and sharing the knowledge I've gained over the past four years. Getting a degree in a physical science would have seemed absurd to me as a high school student and I actually began college as a biology major. At the time, I thought of myself as 'intuitive,' finding the mathematical element central to physics and chemistry daunting and prohibitively difficult for a student that received Cs in high school math classes. However, after a few years of being forced to do pure and applied math not only did I began to find its structure appealing, it actually helped me build the thought experiments I considered myself good at as an intuitive student. So, knowing the perspective of physical science from both a skeptical and appreciative angle, I feel as if I have a unique capacity for tutoring someone across that gap.

Outside of class, I led a very social and fulfilling life. Growing up in the mountains, to this day, my favorite thing to do is probably skiing. I also dig hiking, mountain biking, swimming in irrigation ditches, and playing golf. In terms of traveling, I was lucky enough to live in both Wales and Sweden for a year while still living with my parents and hope to move out of country again at some point.
