Certified Tutor

I am currently a student at the University of Florida working towards getting a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. I have always helped out my friends in the classes I have taken and also used to tutor kids when I was in High School under the National Honor Society. I specialize in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Macro/Microeconomics, Business, and Accounting courses. My favorite subject to tutor is Algebra 1 because I have always liked Math and it is one of the most essential subjects to know for almost any future subject that deals with calculations.

When I tutor, I like to make sure that the student fundamentally understands what they are doing and why they are doing it. Whether it is a past rule they may have overlooked or a new concept they may not have a full grasp of, if they understand what the reasoning is behind it then it is easier to apply. I also try to use real world examples where possible to show it is applicable to real life.

Some of my personal hobbies include watching basketball (especially my favorite team the Miami Heat), watching the football, hanging out with friends, learning random new subjects on the internet, and weightlifting and fitness. I always look to try new experiences whenever I can and consider myself to be very adventurous in general.
