I have been a fourth and fifth grade licensed teacher in VA for 12 years. I have experience tutoring students in math, reading, writing, and organization/study skills in the upper elementary grades. My personal interests are running half and full marathons and showing our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy in local dog shows. I like to travel whenever possible. When I was in the military, I was a Korean linguist, so learning new languages is an interest of mine. My students tell me that I am extremely patient and understanding, and I enjoy helping people understand concepts and developing a life-long love of learning.
