I recently graduated with a M.S. in Biology from John Carroll University, and I intend to pursue a PhD in Ecology. I earned a research grant to fund my thesis work, which focused on the interactions between invasive earthworms and salamanders in northeastern Ohio. I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience, including work with pre-med undergraduates, college-bound high schoolers, and elementary school students. At times, biology can seem complex and frustrating, but I can help break-down these challenging topics into manageable units. Also, strong written communication is essential for any professional endeavor, and I can assist in developing fundamental writing skills to improve GRE writing scores and enhance essays. I want to work with you and your child to find an individualized study plan and tutoring method that will help them achieve their full potential. I am dedicated to helping students engage with the material and take ownership of their academic success. Hopefully I can get your child as excited about studying biology as I am!
