All my pre-college education was in Catholic schools, from elementary school through high school. I pursued a four-year degree from the Department of Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics at Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors, majoring in Statistics. I have worked as a high-school relief teacher for Mathematics, as a tutor for previous high-school dropouts looking to obtain their high-school credentials, and as a tutor at a tutoring agency with many of the students sponsored by the “No Child Left Behind” program. I have work experience in economic research and data analysis, business and statistical programming, systems analysis, and software support.

I believe that people should be empowered with the tools that will help them meet their goals in life. The most readily accessible tool that opens up possibilities in meeting these goals is a good education. I realized early on in life that an educational foundation based on a reasonable grasp of language skills, and basic concepts of Mathematics will take a person a long way towards their goals and help them better navigate our complex world of handling goods and services that we need or encounter. I am passionate about Mathematics and the use of technology in a person’s personal life. I love watching sports, especially soccer, basketball, football, tennis, athletics, and volleyball. I try to keep up with current events --specifically local and world news.
