I am of the opinion that a great tutor can significantly impact one's educational journey for the better! I now thank my first tutor, my sister, for helping me to read fluently by the age of 2 and graduate from Williams College, the number one ranked liberal arts college in the US, by the age of 20.
During the 18 years between reading and graduation, I had many educationally enriching experiences including study abroad in Peru, Nicaragua, Chile, and Senegal. While in Chile, I conducted research with the Ministry of Health, obtained fluency in Spanish, and worked as an English tutor for local university students.

After four years of tutoring, I am currently transitioning from a role as a curriculum developer to a full-time position teaching 2nd grade. I'm thrilled at the opportunity to pass on my love for learning to others through Varsity Tutors!
