I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Aaron

Certified Tutor

I am a senior at The George Washington University with a double-major in Economics and Statistics. In addition to my time here, I spent one year as a visiting student at The London School of Economics. Originally from the Boston, MA area, I developed a love for math at an early age. I've tutored subjects ranging from SAT Math Prep to Calculus II. In addition to teaching math, I attempt to teach problem-solving techniques that can help students answer questions at faster, more consistent rate. I would describe my teaching style as "hands-on"; I feel that engaging with students and getting them to not just learn math, but enjoy math, is most effective. Outside of school, you can find me trying new recipes in my kitchen, on the tennis court, or cheering on my hometown teams (Go Sox!).
