Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Baylor University for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration focused in management and a Master of Business Administration specialized in Healthcare Administration. Although my degrees are both in business, my educational background is broad spanning from biology to corporate communication to business. My passion is in healthcare, so I am interested in all subjects affecting healthcare in general. My experience with tutoring started in high school working with fellow classmates and most recently has been with student athletes at Baylor University. I love working with all levels of students, and feel I connect well and adapt well to many types of personalities. During my free time I love to be active, especially outside. I also like to travel and spend time with family and friends.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Every student is unique. By carefully listening to their needs, I can give students the confidence, pride, tools and support to learn and grow.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In the first session, I like to learn about the student's personality by asking them questions about themselves. This will quickly uncover what motivates the student and how we will connect. It will also allow me to plan how I will work with the student's learning styles. I also like to find-out what is not working for the student and why they believe we are working together.
