Certified Tutor

Since elementary school I have loved reading, studying, and exploring anything related to science. My undergraduate studies were in the earth and space sciences and my graduate studies include a Masters in Education from Arizona State University. Over the last six years I have had an opportunity to teach lower, middle, and upper middle school grades. Currently, I teach middle school science in Phoenix. In addition to teaching, I presently tutor students at my school and have experience running a 21st Century tutoring program at one of my prior schools. Tutoring often closes the academic gap students that students need. My tutoring sessions are well-prepared and students can expect to be highly involved with each session. I take pride in being patient and knowledgeable about the subject matter I'm tutoring. I look forward to working with my students.
