I am a recent graduate of SUNY at Oneonta, where I studied mathematics and adolescence education. I have much experience through my coursework and experiences there, having tutored students ranging from middle school to college sophomores. In addition, I have a background of experience in the classroom, having completed a semester of student teaching and over one hundred hours of in-classroom participation and observations. I enjoy tutoring students in all subjects of math. My tutoring approach is to guide the students to the solution of each problem. I seek to develop the student's knowledge of the subject by building connections between what the student knows and what they have yet to learn. I am adamant that any student can be successful academically with the right support and teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and collecting vinyl records, reading about and studying history, cooking, and playing board games.
