Certified Tutor

As a native German speaker with a degree in Library Sciences and a Minor in Germanistik (German Language and Literature) from the University of Marburg and the Bibliotheksschule Frankfurt am Main, I have been teaching and tutoring German for 10 + years for all ages and levels. I am not limited to a singular approach or methodology to teaching, but completely customize my lessons to the needs and learning style of each individual student. Whenever appropriate, I like to include cultural elements in my lessons and I am very passionate about fostering a greater understanding among people of different cultural backgrounds and a deeper appreciation of what makes each of us unique.
I am very engaged in my students’ progress and bring my personal formula for success to every lesson: 5e = s (Ease + expertise + engagement + enthusiasm + excellence = success).
In my spare time, I write and edit county briefs for a travel app, as traveling and exploring other cultures is another passion of mine.
