As a Poway High School graduate, I found my passion for math and science. I am currently enrolled at California State University, San Marcos as a Computer Science Major. I am in my third year and expect to graduate in the spring of 2015. Once I graduate I plan to attend graduate school to get my Master's in Physics. While I was in high school, I was tutoring others all types of math and I really enjoyed it because it made me feel good that I was able to help others be happy and successful. I have always enjoyed helping other students (classmates). Some students lack motivation that I have and it is always a pleasure to help others become motivated. I really enjoy tutoring math, and that is because I fully grasp the concepts of mathematics to a point where I am so confident in my abilities to teach it to others. I am able to explain the concepts clearly and accurately. My tutoring styles are dependent on the student. Everyone learns and understands at different rates. I change my style of tutoring all the time based on the student's interest and ability. I have worked with students who are lacking motivation in the specific subject, and students who show passion. Both students are great to work with and both students take on different learning techniques. Tutoring interest me because I am always studying with others and trying to teach them ways of completing certain problems. I am always trying to help people and tutoring is what I like to do. I try to tutor in everything I am capable of, not only academics. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, reading, sports and hiking.
