Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of Massachusetts. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After college, I went on to earn my teacher certification in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Reading from Westfield State University. I am a licensed Reading Specialist. I have more than ten years of experience in education. I have both tutoring experience and eight years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary and middle school levels. Because I believe Reading can open a whole new world, this is my favorite subject in which to tutor. My work history has given me experience and insight in educating a broad age range of children, determining individual needs, and helping children to learn. I am accustomed to motivating children to reach their potential, assessing performance, and managing individual differences. In my spare time, I love to read and spend time at the beach.
