Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Mercer University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry with a focus in medicine . I have extensive experience tutoring college students and elementary, middle, and high school children. In addition, I have tutored in after school science programs for schools in areas below the poverty line. Also, I have extensive experience in medical research where I further sharpened my science skills. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about the sciences and math. In my experience, helping struggling students understand new material is a very rewarding experience for both the student and myself. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. I acknowledge that each student possesses different learning needs, and I am flexible to adjust my teaching style to effectively meet the needs of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy running, cooking, and volunteering in my community.
