Languages are the best way to get involved with new cultures and people! I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Pitzer College and have completed advanced studies in French at the Institut Catholique de Toulouse, and Portuguese at the Casa do Caminho in Rio de Janeiro.

As a University of Cambridge certified teacher (CELTA), my lesson structure is based on effective and principled teaching practices and theories.

Having worked for a number of industry-leading, Bay Area tech-start ups and studied Web Development at New York University, I use modern technology to turn sometimes boring grammar and vocabulary exercises into authentic learning and discovery experiences.

In my free time I write and record music, play and coach soccer, and surf-travel the world.
