Certified Tutor

I am a currently practicing Emergency Room nurse, and have been in the DC area for going on 3 years. In addition to nursing, I also have degrees in biomedical science and humanistic studies, so I am able to tutor in english and writing as well as biology and physiology. Je parle francais aussi.

I have helped many people edit papers, from english to research proposals, and I enjoy helping people find their rhythm and voice. I also thrive on talking people through basic to difficult concepts in biomedical science and it's derivatives.

I am dynamic, interactive and approachable when I teach. I can switch gears or adjust my style to fit my student and what they need. I do believe everyone can improve their verbal skills and the life sciences are not pure memorization, so there is a chance for anyone to succeed given the right guidance.

In my free time, I love pursuing outdoor sports such as rock climbing and snowboarding. I am also very into traveling, cooking, and dancing.
