Certified Tutor

I am a former eighth grade science teacher, and I have also taught Biology Labs and Health classes at a community college. I have experience working with students from third grade through college. I believe in getting to know a student's learning style and then using that to plan lessons and tutoring sessions. I don't want to lecture students, I want to engage them. This strategy has worked for me personally, and I have used it in my own classrooms. I want the students that I work with to have truly mastered the material, and I am dedicated to working hard to help students reach their goals.
