I am currently a business student at the University of Houston Honors College. I actually enjoy working out math problems (especially Trigonometry and Calculus) as it gives me a sense of accomplishment like solving a puzzle. I would also say that I have a great sense of humor and a positive personality. My goal in tutoring is to present the material in a creative way that engages the student. In my opinion, when it comes to mathematics, a student's biggest enemy is low self confidence. Once a student finds that he or she has the ability to solve a problem, they are much more receptive to the subject and can retain more information.
