I graduated magna cum laude from Lafayette College with a BS in Psychology. After completing two years in a doctoral program in clinical psychology I came to the realization that I did not want to be a clinical psychologist. I feel teaching will be a more fulfilling career for me; I am planning to be a high school/middle school math teacher.
During high school, I tutored Latin and have tutored Math during high school and college. The best tutors tailor their lessons to the learning styles of their students. I enjoy finding accessible and creative approaches to simplify complex concepts for my students.
My favorite pastime is Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art.
