Tutoring review by Brooke in Louisiana
The student continues to grasp the major aspects of her math work. She has no major holes in knowledge. The mistakes she makes are mostly due to simple errors that could be caught if she went more slowly, checked her work, and wrote out all her steps. We will continue to work on that. Overall, she is in good shape.

During this session, her attention and effort were greatly improved.

Tutoring review by Kristy in Louisiana
The student did a great job tonight on 6th grade writing. He learned about and how to use appositives to enhance his creative writing skills. He also worked on using the correct meaning of similar words in his writing - i.e. stared, glared, looked, peeked. He did a review on author's language with examples. He seemed to really enjoy writing his BioPoem and did a great job being very creative. He begins school next week, so we will continue working on writing, and probably some math skills.

With some work on those two areas, she should be well prepared for this aspect of the mathematics section. We will continue to work on these.
