In today's session, we worked on integration techniques and their applications. The specific focus was on a set oh AP practice questions. The student was able to complete most of them on his own, but he did have trouble at times. However, I think he has a better understanding of this material than he did on the previous topics. I noticed that the problems he had the most trouble on were the questions that were a little odd and needed to be looked at in different ways to understand what was being asked. It's really all about getting comfortable with the material and getting more practice with AP style questions. We will continue to work on both of these skills as he goes through this class.

We covered absolute values and inequalities to prep for tomorrow's test. We also covered conjunction and disjunction for and or cases. I also gave the student additional problems to work on to make sure he understands the procedures.

We began our session by discussing the student's homework and upcoming assignments and tests to make sure he's remembering everything. We spent most of our time together making and reviewing flashcards for his vocabulary test later this week; hopefully, more structured study methods will help improve his performance.

We read a chapter of the novel the student was assigned. He struggles with memorizing vocabulary. We will continue to work on that. I definitely see progress with verb conjugation skills.
