Today, the student and I covered topics in kinetics. We reviewed how to derive rate laws given various types of kinetic data. We will aim to meet one more time before her test on Wednesday.

Student and I met from 5:05-6:35. We worked mostly on volume of solids and surface area of solids to prepare for his test on Tuesday.

The student and I worked on critical reading, sentence completion, improving sentences, and identifying sentence error passages the entire time. We reviewed the questions that he missed/wasn't sure of as well. Progress was good- he will practice some reading and writing sections over the week, if time permits.

The student finished his assessment for homework in the past week. We were able to go over a listening passage; how to effectively take notes during the passage as well as what is expected of him in the questions that follow. I will be looking over his assessment before his next session and making lesson plans to tackle his weak areas. He seems to be doing well and improving.

The student and I reviewed for her PreCal test on Monday, which was over exponential decay and growth equations and graphs. Since we had some extra time, we also went over her Physics notes regarding sound - vibrations, frequency, pitch, and the Doppler Effect.
