About the class

Paleontologists can learn more from 67-million-year-old minerals than you might think! In this class, we'll investigate our favorite dinosaur, SUE, by exploring their life and death as we learn more about the fascinating stories that fossils tell us. Come visit SUE, the world's most complete T. rex fossil, for an adventure you won't forget.

Meet your instructor, Jeff.

Jeff is an educator and docent at the Field Museum in Chicago, IL. Since 2013, he has conducted numerous tours and programs on dinosaurs, most recently the ongoing Discovery Adventures and SUE Virtual Tour on the Field Museum's website. Jeff enjoys talking dinos, animals, and debunking myths propagated by certain popular movies and cartoons.
