I am a graduate of Middle TN State University (MTSU) as I received my master's degree from there in educational leadership with a concentration in library science. I worked both as a librarian, teacher, virtual teacher, and lead teacher for the virtual program in my district.
I have taught my own students face to face in TN as well virtual students from across the US--Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, and displaced students during hurricane relief. I have spent most of my adult life teaching students from prek-12th grade.
On a more personal note, I'm a mom to an amazing 2nd grader which is how I spend most of my time when I'm not teaching, working as a librarian, or tutoring. We go on adventures all of the time exploring the world.
