Certified Tutor

I am a current Sophomore studying at the University of Notre Dame with a major in Political Science and a minor in Business Economics. I grew up going to tutoring academies myself, so I have been taught by various tutors and understand what works and what doesn't. I myself started tutoring my Sophomore year in high school during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the course of a year, I tutored English to Children in China over zoom. During the summer of 2023, I tutored elementary students in reading and writing. The subject I hope to be teaching is standardized test prep because I believe that while standardized tests seem daunting to many, there are simple strategies that I hope to teach that can make these tests much more approachable. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and I believe that the work ethic and knowledge developed through proper tutoring can prepare a student to excel in all aspects of their life. When I teach, I try to simplify complicated problems as much as possible using topics that the student is more familiar and comfortable with. In my free time I like bowling, cards and board games, and volleyball. After completing my undergraduate studies, I would like to pursue a law degree.
