I graduated from Rice University, and have taught Literature and Writing for 15 years. I am a licensed high school English Literature now. I have tutored students in College Essay writing, creative writing, Technical Writing, research projects,
AP English, AP Literature and Critical Reasoning, Debate, and with test prep. I am an effective tutor with an excellent ability to listen with care and zero in on the task conceptually and analytically. My listening skills and pre-assessment skills help students to quickly break down and grasp the steps involved in tackling the assignment successfully. The goal is to create an enjoyable and effective approach and at the same time a rich intellectual experience that builds student confidence and self-belief.
