Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am an experienced educator. I have spent three years in the classroom and I have a master's in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan. I take a constructivist approach to teaching, meaning I focus on helping students build on their prior knowledge to construct new understandings.
With all my students, I take a strengths-based approach to build on the skills the student has and to help them meet academic challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. I have had tremendous success with this approach, including in helping students with various learning disabilities.
