I completed a BS-MS degree at Washington University in St Louis (BS in biomedical engineering, MS in mechanical engineering) in 2010 and a PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. My PhD work examined human movement biomechanics. More recently, I was a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Leuven in Belgium. I currently live in Fort Worth, Texas, where I am a mathematics instructor at Tarrant County College and I am interested in helping math and engineering students achieve success!

I have 5 years of tutoring experience in math subjects - including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus (I, II, and III). I have also helped students achieve success in the SAT math test, SAT math subject tests, and GRE quantitative exams. I received a teaching assistant certification from the University of Texas at Austin, and served as a teaching assistant for a mechanical engineering bachelor's level "dynamics" course and a master's/PhD level "musculoskeletal biomechanics" course. As a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Leuven, I was a course assistant for a master's level "modeling and optimizing human movement" course, covering biomedical and mechanical engineering topics. I currently am an adjunct mathematics instructor at Tarrant County College, where I teach Calculus and Business Algebra.
