When it comes to tutoring, I believe in helping students in understanding concepts rather than memorizing materials. With this in mind, I have been able to help students use their knowledge of one subject to understand another. Since I have earned my Bachelors degree in Chemistry and am currently working on my Masters, chemistry is my favorite subject to tutor because I enjoy showing students that chemistry is nothing to be intimidated by. I also enjoy tutoring for entrance exams, since they are key to continuing education.

During my time between undergraduate and graduate school, I worked at the Center for Disease Control in the Vitamin D and Hormone Standardization and Certification Programs. After earning my Masters degree, I hope to begin a PhD program and study the total synthesis of natural products.

Outside of school, I love to read Stephen King novels, watch scary movies, hike and be adventurous with the culinary creations I bring to life in the kitchen.
