I am an experienced, patient and friendly tutor with 14 years of teaching experience.

I have a PhD in Anthropology and spent over a decade teaching and mentoring college students at the University of Michigan. Subjects I taught there included Biology, History, Anthropology, Upper Level Writing and Research Methods.

I also have extensive experience with private tutoring, both one-to-one and with small groups of students. I especially enjoy working with younger children and I have tutored elementary and middle school students in English, Math, and Science. I also have a great success rate with SAT preparation, essay writing, and college application help for high school students.
I am fully bilingual in English and Russian and have professional experience teaching ESL and EFL to children and adult learners.
