I am a Speech Pathology major completing my master's degree at Vanderbilt University. I completed my Bachelor???s at the University of South Florida with an honors thesis on the current research in the field of linguistic relativity among bilinguals. My research interests include literacy, the relationship between cognition and language, and the history of language. My other interests include public speaking and volunteering. My goal is to become a Ph.D. researcher after I obtain my Certificate of Clinical Competence as a speech therapist. I tutor a wide variety of ages in a range of subjects, including but not limited to test preparation, latin, philosophy, and writing. I try to incorporate research-based techniques and methods into my tutoring whenever possible.
