I was born in Venezuela, and was raised in Miami, FL. I have two Master's degrees in linguistics (one from Florida International University and one from Georgetown University), and have just completed my Ph.D in Spanish linguistics from Georgetown University. I have taught for over 10 years (6 years in the 6-12 setting as an English teacher, and 4 years as an instructor of Spanish at the college level). I am currently the Department Chair of World Languages at a private school. I am confidently able to tutor all levels of Spanish, English (language, grammar, and literature), or any combination of the two!
