Certified Tutor

I graduated from Cornell University in May 2015 with a B.S. in Engineering Physics and am pursuing a Ph.D. in physics or applied math. I have past experience tutoring language arts and SAT math. At present, I prefer to tutor math and SAT/GRE preparation because these subjects so often boil down to logic puzzles. My undergraduate education taught me the importance- and joy- of problem-solving and critical thinking, and I aim to communicate that to my students. I also seek to alleviate the anxiety associated with the SAT and GRE with efficient test-taking techniques. I devote my free time to singing with several choral groups, hiking in the countryside around Ithaca, and reading.
