I am a third year student at the University of Missouri studying Spanish and sociology. I am a firm believer that education is the key to the future, and everyone deserves the opportunity to love what they are learning. My overall tutoring philosophy is based around building confidence. Not only would I like my students to achieve their goals in our subjects of focus, but I also want my students to feel more confident in their own academic abilities.

I am a current senior at Coral Reef Senior High in the International Baccalaureate program and will be headed to Dartmouth College in the fall to study environmental science and public policy. I am a native Spanish speaker, and have taken the highest level classes available to me. I am very passionate about science and history, and have tutored those subjects extensively with the Social Studies Honors Society and Science Honors Society at my school. I have also tutored for the past three years with Tutoring For Tomorrow, a local charity that donates tutoring revenue to local nonprofits in need. Having recently finished the college application process, I know the intricacies of the system and am uniquely suited to help other students with it.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, of which I graduated with Latin honors (Magna Cum Laude).I obtained high marks on AP exams (English, Spanish and Psychology) and the English/reading/writing sections of the ACT and GRE, so I am happy to offer my expertise!

I received an Undergrad at University of Minnesota Morris, and an MBA from Dominican University of California. I have a BAs in Spanish, Business, & Latin American Studies. I also have an MBA with an emphasis on Sustainability. I have tutored students in Spanish Language, Managerial Accounting, and Cost Accounting. I enjoy tutoring Spanish, Business Studies, Accounting, Economics, etc. Outside of academia I like live music.

I am rising second-year law student at Hofstra University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Adelphi University. I started tutoring as a way to help out during the pandemic because I saw how students and educational institutions, as a whole, struggled during this hard time. Being a student myself, I know firsthand the frustration when you do not understand something and the patience required to be able to excel at a subject. There is nothing better than when a student not only begins to understand a concept, but also becomes enthusiastic about it and even loves it. I have a love for a variety of subjects that ranged from Spanish to Mathematics. I look forward to working with you!

I currently attend Union College in New York. I am on the Pre-med track and plan on receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Spanish is a language I have been speaking my whole life and I love to spread my knowledge of this language. I have been tutoring for 5 years now and in my experience helping students learn this language, we tend to have a lot of fun (while also making exceptional advancements)! I believe learning other languages is a great tool in life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy family time, yoga, working out, and soccer.

I aim to cultivate strong interests in learning the Spanish language because of all the opportunities and life lessons it brings to a student's life. I have been fluent in Spanish since elementary school through my enrollment in a Spanish immersion program, and have never taken a break from learning Spanish! I have experience tutoring college students from beginners just starting out to 4th years who have already mastered the language. I have spent 5 months living in Santiago, Chile and another 3 months teaching 9th and 10th graders English. I understand that learning a language can be one of the most challenging subjects a student can take, but I also believe it is the most rewarding. I hope to help you or your student on the path to successful language learning through individualized tutoring!

I am originally from sunny San Diego, California. Back in high school I was a tri-sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball and track for my school. My Senior year I was named the Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.I moved to Texas about four years ago to attend college, where I continued my passion for playing sports. I was a college athlete, playing both volleyball and running track. Furthermore, I was a SCAC Student Athlete and either on Honor Roll or Dean's List every semester in my undergraduate career. I double majored in college, earning my B.A. in both Psychology and Spanish from the University of Dallas. I am currently attending the University of Houston to pursue my Masters degree and (hopefully) my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. In my spare time, I like to play guitar, and I am currently looking into finding a Krav Maga studio near me so I can start taking that again. Also, I love to play with my little 5 pound puppy, Teagan.

I love learning, and through my love of learning came my appreciation and passion for teaching. Having tutored my family and peers for several years I have the experience to assistant students from a wide range abilities and circumstances. As I work towards getting into a top-tier graduate masters in teaching program, I wish to continue practicing my teaching/tutoring skills by helping people achieve their academic goals.
