I am currently on the lengthy path to becoming a professor. In 2019, I finished a bachelor's degree in biology, graduating summa cum laude. Returning for up to 8 more years of school in a completely different science that required more school did not seem enticing immediately after graduation. What changed?

I'm putting my passion to use! I am a certified teacher for grades PK-8. I am currently a Pre-K teacher in OKC, but I find myself itching to tutor. I find that the best learning comes from one-on-one interactions. Nothing brightens my day like helping someone reach a lightbulb moment (pun intended).

I am a graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelors of Science in Theology and a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Education/Adult Education and Training. During my undergrad work, I travelled to Europe were I expanded my practical application of Spanish and Portuguese. Since returning to the United States, I have worked in several venues providing linguistic translation services and assisting in ESL assignments.

I am working towards a Master of Arts in Education as well.
