About Me

I have five years of tutoring experience in topics including general/inorganic chemistry, biology, biochemistry, statistics, calculus, and physics. I graduated from Brown University with honors in biomedical engineering and neuroscience, then completed a 1-year master's in biomedical engineering. I also scored a 519 on my MCAT, with a perfect score in the bio/biochem section. I am passionate about creating individualized lesson plans to address a tutee's needs, so that the student can thrive. I have a long list of resources that can provide alternative ways to learn, whether that's through well-written textbooks, videos, or interactive virtual tools. I am patient and encourage questions, and will work with a student step-by-step until they understand it well enough to answer it on their own. As a lifelong learner and biomedical engineering student, I also want to make learning fun! Given my major and the research work I've done, I am confident that I could contextualize what students are learning in the classroom so that they can understand what they learn is not in a vacuum.
