I am a current student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am majoring in Computer Science. In my time in school, I've noticed that subjects that can be captivating and interesting are oftentimes disliked by students because they have had a bad experience with a teacher in that subject. I understand that some students learn differently, and I take it upon myself to make sure that my students' needs are met. It is my mission to make learning fun and enjoyable to students.

I am eager to encourage and inspire my students to reach their educational goals. I have forty plus years of classroom teaching experience with an exceptional track record and over ten years of experience in successfully leading and supervising other teachers as elementary principal.

I am also an incoming medical student for the fall of 2025. I am comfortable tutoring pre-nursing, anatomy & physiology and I also tutor K-12 and am comfortable tutoring high school science courses.

I am an avid reader and theater-goer (at least, before the pandemic), am physically active and a risk-taker. In the past I was a marathon runner and a long distance biker. I have run both the New York and the Chicago marathons; did the AIDS Bike Ride in Alaska and have participated in the Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRI) several times. I also paint and have attended summer art programs and have sold some of my paintings at Art Fairs.

I am a junior at Rollins College and I am majoring in computer science and philosophy. I am passionate about working with students because I want to share my love of learning with them. I can tutor students of all ages and grades especially k-12 age students.

I am also a firm believer in the inter-generational transmission of knowledge. Teachers/tutors/learning facilitators have just as much to learn from their students as the students do from them, especially as it relates to the use of new media technologies. All children can learn! All children are intelligent! My job is to help them feel secure in who they are as students and as individuals; while working to build their love of learning.
