Hello! I am excited for the opportunity to work with students ranging from kindergarten to middle school or early high school, specifically in the subjects of Math and English. I have taken Math courses up to and including college calculus, and have always been passionate about and enjoyed the subject of English. I would be happy to offer my learned effective techniques, tips, and strategies to younger students across Math and English topics, whether it be reading comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar, or whatever other objectives the student is aiming to achieve. I like to devise a plan first while looking at the whole task at hand, such as areas for improvement or assignments, and develop a plan in order to help the student attain the performance they desire. My interests and hobbies include traveling, running, yoga, trying new restaurants, reading, and editing creative writing pieces. I have been lucky to travel the world with friends and family, and along experience many new cultures (and foods!). I have completed several long races and am hoping to complete a marathon in my early post-graduate life, however running and yoga have taught me the practice of patience, planning, and commitment to larger goals which have translated into my academic techniques as well. I am an avid reader as my Kindle is my most prized possession, and specifically enjoy mystery or romance novels. I was part of several organizations on and off campus, ranging from a professional business fraternity to a health and wellness magazine which have also continued my interests in math, reading, writing, and more!
