I believe that the very best way for students to grasp concepts is for them to explore those concepts themselves and arrive at logical conclusions that they make through their own thinking. Because of that, my teaching has a strong emphasis on guided exploration, where my students are posed questions that they answer through their own critical thinking, as opposed to being expected to absorb and memorize answers.
